Meeting a handsome loner on a deserted beach in the Hamptons was like being hit by lightning. One steamy weekend in bed with Daniel O'Sullivan and Catherine Montefiore was marvelously woozy from a delicious cocktail of sun, sand, and superhot sex.
I liked this book a lot. The premise was excellent. I still remember how I felt on September 11th and I didn't lose anyone that I loved. Daniel's feelings of loss felt real to me. One little thing... there was a scene in the restaurant where I swear the author must have actually heard it happen. I wasn't quite sure how it related to the story, but it was a truly awesome break-up scene. I just picture the author sitting with her back to the breaking up couple, writing down every word.
