I'm into paranormals now. There, I said it. I know I once told a friend that I would never get into all that "vampire/werewolf/psychic" junk, but I'm woman enough to admit when I'm wrong and when something is not "junk"
It's all thanks to that Nocturne I read by Lisa Renee Jones, and now I'm totally obsessed with Christine Feehan. I read every book in her Ghost Walker series, and now I'm on her Drake sisters series and I'm dying for more.
Anyway, Shadow Game. This is the first Ghost Walker book I read, and it's ridiculously complicated to try to explain in a short blurb. Basically, heroine Lily Whitney is the daughter of a scientist who experiments on humans. Dr. Whitney has managed to enhance psychic abilities in a quest for a super solider, and one of the men he experimented on is Ryland Miller, the hero.
Ryland and his men have been isolated in an underground lab, and when Lily's father is murdered, she frees the men and tries to help them figure out exactly what kind of crazy experiments were going on.
There's tons of danger, psychic abilities, and incredible chemistry between Lily and Ryland. And you end up falling in love with all of the other characters too. Definitely read this book if you have a chance!
