Shattered by the CEO

Yay! A Desire book! Read a review here. I think most of you know that Emilie Rose is one my of my favorite category authors. This book was interesting - enjoyable... but... off the wall!

Has anyone else read this and have an opinion about the heroine? Was it just me?

I have this one in my tbr

I have this one in my tbr pile. I am also an Emilie Rose fan and she is an auto buy for me. I like alpha heros but not mean heros so I hope he is not mean. I just ordered the second book in this series so I they are coming out close together.

Margie :)

Ooo

Margie,

I'm about to order the second one - you know, the hero didn't really bother me that much in this book - it was the heroine who blew my mind. I just ... couldn't wrap my head around it.

I love love love Emilie Rose's books though.

Read this in May

I read and blogged this one in May and actually liked it quite a lot. Both were odd characters, but each had some good points. I think Rand's dad messed him up more than anything else. I look forward to the next Payback book

Bonsal

Bonsal,

I agree - I felt so bad for Rand, and how his dad screwed with him. But... the heroine - ack - she... ack! I just... I had an extremely hard time wrapping my head around the method to her madness. Loved the book. Loved it - but... ack.

You are right

and ... ack does just about cover it. Tara definately fit the catagory of "different"!

read

in AprilI think Rand came with a lot of baggage. And Tara used the stipulation in the will to her advatage. I liked the second book in the series. Now awaiting Nadia's story

Yes!

Bonsal - glad that you agree - I really wanted to know how other people felt.

Christa!!! Hiiiieeee!! :D Oh yes, Rand had a SET of  luggage! And Tara tooootally took advantage of the will (a will I had a lot of problems with!!!) => I plan on buying book 2 on Friday, and cannot wait for the next!
