The Shaughnessey Accord by Alison Kent

The second book in the SG-5 series follows Tripp Shaughnessey as he pursues sandwich shop owner, Glory Brighton. When he goes over to get lunch at her shop, he finds her in the store room and finally gives her the kiss he has been waiting to give her. Unfortunately for them, it just happens to be the same time a group of gunmen lay siege to her shop. The situation forces Tripp to reveal who he really is to Glory when he uses his surveillance feed to summon help.

Tripp and Glory are both great characters. I love their humor and how easily they read each other - something learned during their banter while Tripp orders lunch. Watching them come together was a lof of fun and put a smile on my face.
