Now with her mother gone, Jay (Janaan) Latimer is free to explore far off lands. She decides to explore Damhoor and see the way and culture of her father. But she decides to do this as a doctor for Global Aid Organization (GAO). In Damhoor she meets Sheikh Malek Aal Hamdaam. Not only does she find out he is a sheikh but also a surgeon and Minister of Health and later she finds out he is the crowned prince. Even though they love each other with such intensity, nothing can come of it because with him being the crowned prince a suitable bride will be chosen for him and it is his duty to produce an heir. Can these two somehow have a future together?

This book takes the seduction down a few notches. Malek is seductive in other ways. His dedication to his people and work add to his appeal. Jay was great. She didn't hold back her opinions just because he was a sheikh. The story was thick with emotional intensity. I even think my eyes were even misting up in the last few chapters.
