The Sheikh's Blackmailed Mistress (Arabian Nights) HP #2740

Format: Print Books

The Sheikh's Blackmailed MistressIn a foreign Airport cartographer Samantha McLellan bumps into a tall stranger and suddenly she kisses him. Months later she's working in the desert with a group drawing the border between Dhurahn and Zaran. The ruler of Dhurahn, Prince Vereham al a'Karim is going to the border to supervise. He had been alerted that one of the group drawing the border is in the pay of the Emir of Zaran and he plans to get to the bottom of it. He finds Samantha, the same woman who bumped into him and has had dreams of ever since.  Because of her interest in why a ancient river was changed he believes she is the spy. He takes her to the ancient river and makes love to her. Then kidnaps her and shows the world that she is his mistress. Sam is in love with Vere and goes along with his plan, until Vere comes to his senses.

I have to admit I really enjoyed this book. The stories of Sheikhs has really changed since the 70's and 80's. I use to love Penny Jordan, back in the late 70's and this is the first book I've pick up of her's since. I really liked it.
