An Arabian Nights tale. Oh my, one of my favorite when I grow up jobs...cartography....What a fun job Samantha has and Vere really messed it up. Of course James was just horrible. I liked the confusion near the end about the prince and princess - it definately lighten everything up a bit!

I haven't posted the review
I haven't posted the review yet for this one, but I enjoyed it. Lots of very tautly written sexual tension. Good job PJ! There was an external conflict (is the heroine undermining the political stability?) but that is resolved fairly quickly and the final conflict keeping them apart is internal (the hero is afraid loving will make him weak because he can't stand losing the ones he loved... his parents died young).
Here's a fav scene.... I love when a hero gets possessive and wants his heroine to have his baby.
Favourite Scene: (she just told him it wasn't likely she was pregnant)
Vere had no idea why Sam’s assertion that she had not conceived his child should make him feel that dark bitterness and pain. All he did know was that it also made him feel angry and alone. Shamefully, it also made him feel that he wanted to take her back in his arms and make love to her until she was crying out to him to possess her. And this time when he did so he wanted to ensure that…That what? That he impregnated her with his seed? That her body, her womb, would ripen with it and with his child? The fierce clutch of savage joy at his heart was giving him a message that was totally at odds with the logical rejection inside his head.
