Mike Taylor comes to visit his grandfather in Trouble, PA, he meets Jennifer Feeney-a tire-iron-toting, drop-dead-gorgeous woman whose crazy aunts had stolen her shoes and keys and left her more than a little pissed off.  There is no way he will get involved with someone likes Jennifer but she is no ordinary female and her latest bestseller had stirred up a whole lot of trouble  which means rescuing her again and again.  The sparks continue to grow when they return to their respective jobs and homes in New York City.  And when a little murder comes between them, Mike has to decide: solve the case, or get the girl?
