This isn't that riveting of a romance. It sort of just skims around it to me. However, it's a terribly compelling mystery. I liked Abby and Montoya. Both are likable and believeable. Abby's inability to let go her mother's past is poignant and understandable. Montoya is as tenatious as a bulldog but, like, less slobery. I could have used a little more love but the rest of the book makes up for it.
