Shock Waves by Colleen Collins

The second book in the Sex on the Beach miniseries focuses on Ellie Rockwell and her run-in with a her childhood crush, Bill Romero. The two of them heat up the beach after she auditions as an extra for a steamy TV show he works on as the first Assistant Director. Their attraction is strong and immediate. However, being with Ellie will force Bill to confront a past he has left there.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story about Ellie and Bill. They seem to bring out the best of each other and Ellie helps Bill deal with the problems he has about his past, which then helps him make decisions about his future. It was a fun, quick read that fit well with the theme of the mini-series.
