Silk, Lace and Videotape by Joanne Rock is a sexy story about New York Police Detective Duke Rawlins and Designer Amanda Matthews. Amanda's Dad is very friendly with the local mobsters and the Police are investigatng her boyfriend, Victor Gallagher. Amanda has made a tape of her doing a seductive striptease. She brings it to Victor's home the same day the Police arrest him. In all the confusion, she loses the tape. Duke Rawlins finds it and thinks it is evidence. Aftfer he watches it, he sees Amanda in a whole new light and wants to pursue her.
This was a cute story with realistic characters and a smooth plot. I really enjoyed it. My rating 8/10
