This is a reissue of a 1995 book, but one I've never read. I loved it. Of course, I love just about all of Hannah Howell's books. Ms Howell has a way with words that bring highlanders alive. There was only one inconsistency that I found and I'm not going to tell you. But it didn't ruin the story for me.
