Nola is a woman with a troubled past, but she turned her life around with the help of teacher Mason Reed. She is back at the high school of her transformation from bad girl to math whiz to fill in for a maternity leave. She meets up with the love of her life, but now he is a widower and has a son. 

I have to admit there was a bit of the euw factor for me. I’m the mother of daughters. I don’t want to think about teenage girls having crushes on their young male teachers and I certainly don’t want young male teachers hitting on my teenage girls. However, I enjoyed the story. Clearly, both H and h have emotional baggage they must sort through and they are both well developed as the story progresses. I would give this book a thumbs up.
