Something Good

Format:

This was a sweet story about a mother/daughter relationship and its complexities. Hannah, a shy 15-year old, is struggling to fit in and find her "place" in the world. She is caught between her parents and her friends and her obligations. She goes through heartbreak but ultimately discovers how to be comfortable just being herself. Meanwhile, Jane, Hannah's mother, is dealing with issues of her own and when the story takes an unexpected turn, Jane is forced to confront something she thought she'd never have to face. I really enjoyed this story. It was a light, easy read but the unexpected twist added a great element to the plot.
