Mini Challenge – It’s Raining Men:

The vampire definitely suits the story and the heroine.  Would a vampire suit me if the adventure were mine?  He sounds sexy beyond belief and a straight shooter so, aside from the marks his vampire teeth might leave on me or the possible loss of life due to vampire bites, sure!  He suits me.  Sadly enough, there is no picture of our hero on the cover but I still imagined him.  I could see him with hair slightly curly and down to his neck.  I’m not sure I’ve ever seen an actor who looked quite like that.  So, if I turned this into a movie, I have no idea who would play him.  Perhaps Eric Bana with his look from the movie Troy.

Description & Critique:

A succubus somehow manages to infiltrate herself into the love making session between a human and a vampire.  The vampire feels her and comes to her.  The succubus experiences the amazing physical relationship with the vampire first hand.

This story is one hot story.  It starts right from page 1 and I had trouble stopping reading it.  It kept you going from the beginning to the end.

I don’t know much about creatures other than vampires so I’m not really sure what a succubus is.  I guess in a 20 pages story, there’s no real time to explain.  I think I soft of understand.  For a short story like this, I loved reading about the hot coupling of two supernatural creatures like this.  It made it more interesting.

Mini Challenge – It’s Raining Men:

The hero fits both the story and the heroine very nicely.  And yes, I would take him on the spot!  He suits me, too.  There was nothing more than a belly on the cover so it’s hard to tell if he suits.  The clothes he’s wearing do tie up with a scene or two.  If I were casting the movie, maybe Gerard Buttler would do the trick.

Description & Critique:

Eve writes a blog about everything she all her secret fantasies.  Of course, front and center of those fantasies is her co-worker Lane.  He is the one she pictures sharing all her very hot fantasies with.  Little does she know that her newly acquired friend, tell_me is Lane.  Is she angry when she discovers his true identify?

I loved the format of this story.  We have a little bit of reality and we get to read all her fantasies, too.  The fantasies are enough to steam up your computer screen!  We not feel the passion between the characters of her fantasies, we feel the attraction between her and Lane.

What I like about her fantasies is that they usually involve long term lovers like a husband or long term boyfriend.  Her characters know one another.

The suspense created by her relationship with Lane keeps us going from fantasy to fantasy and through their email communications as Eris Apparent and tell_me.  There isn’t a dull moment.  I never thought I would be able to read a 50 page digital book but it seems I had no trouble at all.

Mini Challenge – It’s Raining Men:

Both men suit me:  Subservient Alain, Take Charge Gerard.  They suited her and to some degree, they would definitely suit me.  Who wouldn’t want a warrior.  Except for Gerard’s heavy handedness of course.  The cover image somewhat represents the men described.  I have no idea who I would get to play these men if I were to cast the movie.

Description & Critique:

This is the story of a young girl who had a curse put on her.  Miracula or Mira, was cursed with Desire!  She felt so much desire and was desired by men, herself.  The only problem was that every man she was with left her feeling empty, incomplete.  The curse also made her parents poorer and poorer the longer the curse lasted.  Mira felt compelled to find the one man to cure her from her curse in order to save her parents from the desperation they felt.  The longer it took, the less prospects there were to try and save her.  Even when Gerard and Alain came into her life, there was no relief to be found.  They were there seeking salvation from their own curses.  Would they find a way?

This story was just under 50 pages long.  Who would think that such a small book could contain so much heat in it.  I loved this book.  Although it took me two days to finish it, it was great.  If I had more time, I would have finished it the first night.

The resolution was so nicely tied together.  Mira’s own split image with light and dark hair as well as her personality was so well reflected in the two men.

This is like all Megan Hart books.  It’s super!  It’s hard to put down!  Wow!

Just one warning.  If you’re a little squeamish about ‘anything goes’ relations, this is not a story for you!

I think

I have a book by Devlin.  I'll have to check as you made this one sound quite interesting!

I read these stories last year...

and I loved them.... I really like the way you described them Kel... wonderful reviews!
In fact, I'm going to have to re-read them... I remember how much I enjoyed them and they're short enough that they won't take up much time... thanks!

kalyko ~ Reading: One of life's little joys and a much needed reward!

fast reads

That's one of the reasons I really got into them.  i'm having problems getting into longer books.  These were perfect to get me back into reading and to try out the electronic format.

I have all three of these .....

one day I'll get around to reading them ..... I like the idea of using them to help get out of a slump ..... I'll have to remember that

nice reviews!
