When SIS agent Marina Bond hears about a vendetta against the Lazlo Group, she contacts Corbett Lazlo and requests a meet. Lazlo sends DeWitt von Kreus, one of the Lazlo Group agents, in his place. Witt finds himself immediately attracted to Marina and manages to insert himself into her present operation in hopes of finding the person/people with a grudge against Lazlo's organization and getting closer to Marina. Between the two of them, they are able to bring down a mole in the SIS and the leaders of two separate blood diamond cartels.
While Nina Bruhns is not one of my auto-buy authors, I have truly enjoyed her work that I have read. This book was no different. Also, even though I have not read any of the other Mission: Impassioned books, this one stood alone well. I never felt like I was missing puzzle pieces from previous books. This is a really good book.
