Star Light, Star Bright by Katherine Stone, MIRA 2002

Format: Print Books
Series: MIRA Books

From the back cover:  Two women, closer than sisters.  Who will he choose?

This book was a departure, for me, from the other books I have read by this author.

Two women that are raised together like sisters, Brooke and Lily.  Lily suffered through a debilitating illness as a child.  Brooke was the vibrant one that thrived on her love of horses and being a child that was loved.

Rafe is a decendant of an emperor, a conquistador and a princess.  He comes to FoxHaven in Virginia to help with the horses. Rafe ends up helping Lily and Brooke solve the mystery of Lily's illness while falling in love.  Which women does he fall in love with?

An interesting, well written book.  Suspense and romance, what more could you ask for?

Rating: Pretty Good   Steaminess: Sensual

Okay.  I'm not up on my royalty, but wouldn't that still mean he's a prince?

DonnaH

Well, it could, but it's not

Well, it could, but it's not a definite.  For example, i don't think a heriditary princess in France would be a princess because royalty doesn't exist here anymore.  I think it's more like he has those people in his lineage.  Help someone.  I'm drowning in maybes.

Sorry...

Hi Donna H,

Sorry for the confusion!  He is the descendant of a princess.  That is from the book & I was wondering about the background but guess it is from several generations!  In fact, I thought the book was starting out in the days of the Aztecs or something like that!  It was current time.  It was a different type of book for this author but still good.

I am still without my own computer which makes it so hard to keep up with everything!  I miss everyone on the Dream Team & eHarlequin.  I haven't read hardly any of my favorite threads but am surviving!! Laughing  I am hoping maybe I will get my computer back this weekend but I will just have to wait and see.  Meanwhile, I just come to my friends a couple of times a week to post reviews & catch up on email, etc.

See you all later.

Take care, happy reading,
