Five years ago the boy vanished without a trace. Today he came back.
Blurb:
Five years after he disappeared, young Daniel Linwood returned to his suburban home for dinner as though he’d never left. It’s a blessing for both his family and their community. And I’ve snagged the exclusive interview.
But it turns out Daniel is just one of a string of abducted children who have mysteriously returned to their families with no memory of their lost years. Some people want me to leave it be. Some want me to simply let the healing process begin. But these wounds are deeper than anyone realizes.
To get the story on these bizarre kidnappings, I need the help of the one woman who owes me nothing. I’ve got to find answers before another life is snatched away from sight and time and memory. But doing so means we could be the next ones to go…
My thoughts:
Once again another riveting, nail biting, edge of your seat read by Jason Pinter. The action in this isn’t quite as fast paced as with the previous books but this had a lot of tense and chilling scenarios. For anyone who is a parent this book may not be for you since it deals with child abduction and goes into some seriously twisted situations regarding why they were abducted. I just love being able to get my Henry Parker kick though I am such a avid fan and continue to become more and more. I love his sarcasm it always brings a smile to my face. And we get to visit with Amanda again and I find myself liking her more and more her sarcasm perfectly matches Henry’s. As the situation hit its climax it brought some surprises and twists that I never saw coming. I found the scenario towards the end with Henry’s idol very sad and hope things get resolved there. His arch nemesis Pauline stoops to a new low. I read the preview for the next book which doesn’t come out til March 09 *cries* and it looks really interesting some new twists will be thrown at Henry that I can’t wait to see how he deals with them.
People who look down on others are the real freaks of this world.

This one sounds great. I
This one sounds great. I loved the first one. My dh Glenn and I are still trying to decide who gets to read this one first. I am trying to be polite but if he doesn't read it after the next Room 59 (which I also love), I might go for it.
