I hate to say it but I got to a point in this one where I really enjoyed reading about Tremane and his struggles within Hardon than the goings on in Valdemar. Valdemar and her allies have some protection from the storms at this point, Hardon and the Empire don't so his struggles with the weather, magic constructs, and the Empires perceived abandonment were more interesting.
