While Taylor and Stryke figure out how to deal with each other, relief pitcher Sloan McCaffrey pursues Taylor's sister, Eve. Eve is immediately put off by Sloan when he comes into Thrill Seekers, the travel company she runs with Taylor, in pursuit of Taylor. He quickly switches his attention to Eve. Watching these two seeming opposites dance around each other was definitely entertaining.
I thoroughly enjoyed this third book about the Richmond Rogues and the women in their lives. Kate Angell has yet another hit with her ballplayers.
