Stripped by Julie Elizabeth Leto (HB 341)

Back Cover:

Lilith St. John is a witch—really. And she hasn't been too good lately. It seems using her powers to make Detective Mac Mancusi totally infatuated with her was a big no-no. Who knew? After all, what woman could resist having a sexy guy like Mac aching for her every minute they were apart? But the council isn't pleased—in fact, they're stripping Lilith of her powers. What's a witch to do?

Especially now—when Mac's suddenly back in her life, looking to rekindle the magic…"

My Review:

Hmm, the back cover makes it sound like Mac willingly returns for second helpings of the best sex in his life and is disappointed that Lilith doesn't have the powers for magic sex anymore... that's not really the case.  I liked the chemisty between Mac/Lilith and they both had feelings beyond the superficial/physical, which was good.  We saw the story from the perspective of a second couple: Josie/Rico, which was kind of unusual for a Harlequin, I expected Josie/Rico would have their own story rather than have every third chapter about them.

Rating: 3/5 stars, a good steamy read, with supernatural elements.

Another one to add

Here's another one I have to add to the list.  Barnes & Noble are really going to love this order next month!
