Sweet Myrtle and Bitter Honey: The Mediterranean Flavors of Sardinia ( Rizzoli 2007)
This was a great cookbook although I will never make any of the recipes. I thoroughly enjoyed the author’s glimpse of his upbringing on Sardinia and would love to try some of the food but only if someone else was making it for me. Scattered throughout the book there were stories and tales of the Sardinian culture and there were numerous pictures of the food and scenery.
