Sweet Talk

Claire desperately wants to reconnect with her estranged sisters, and when her sister Nicole needs surgury, Claire decides to come and help.  No one in Seattle wants Claire there, believing that Claire had abandoned her family for the bright lights of New York, especially Nicole's best friend Wyatt.  Despite the less than warm welcome, Claire is determined to stick it out and mend fences with her sisters.  And if along the way she falls head over heels in love with stubborn Wyatt, well, that's icing on the cake.

This book got a lot of negative reviews on Amazon, particulary about how mean people were to Claire.  I think that people really are that cruel to each other sometimes and it made the characters more realistic to me.  I liked how Claire grew a spine and stood up for herself.
