Katrina Spencer is planning to get married in five days, but instead of flying off to Vegas with her bridesmaids for her bachelorette party, she heads to her family's private island to spend some time alone. She doesn't get much time alone, though, when her high school crush, Brock Denton, emerges from the water on her first day there. His appearance is enough to cause her crush to come back full force as she is faced with her attraction for the man the boy has grown into.
Dealing with their attraction is not the only thing the two of them face on the island, though. Danger finds them there as well. When their only method of transportation off of the island is destroyed, they are forced to face not only their current attraction but the events of the past that have defined who they are in the present.
While the mystery of who is ultimately behind the danger they face isn't that tough to solve, it does add quite a bit to the story. What I liked the most was the fact that Ms. Blake included the backstory through flashbacks at important moments. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and the characters, and definitely recommend it.

I loved this one.
This author really surprised me when I started reading her. She's now an auto buy for me.
