Tall, Dark and Lethal by Dana Marton (Intrigue)

This is the best Intrigue I've ever read. There were lots of characters (who I'm guessing have books of their own) but they were peppered in as seasoning, not part of the main course. And what a dish! I'll confess, this book had me at the hot guy on the cover...but it pulled me in from there.

Cade's trying to 'retire' from his secret agent life...but when his duplex is blown up, he's sure his past has found him. He rescues the neighbor who annoys him and goes into hiding. Everything gets more complicated from there, including his relationship with his sexy neighbor.

My one and only issue with the book is that I figured things out before Cade did. I was OK with Bailey not realizing what happened, but I wanted more from him. Could be the fog of lust Bailey had him in...
