Talons of the Falcon

Format: Print Books

I came across this at my in-laws house and I had a vauge memory of having read it back when it first came out in the eighties, so I carted it home to read it again.  I liked this book, as I recall liking it the first time.  Mark and Eden are both quite likable.  York introduces the tantalizing possibility that he might be an imposter pretty early on which was cool but then it never really goes anywhere but I think it would have been interesting to keep pushing that idea for a little longer.

In general this is a really good book still worth reading even though the Russian, Cold War, spying stuff is ancient history now it's still a great novel of suspense and romance.  Smile
