This is the third in the Blaze "Lust Potion #9" series. Carrie Alexander finishes this series with the story of Zoe Aberdeen and her neighbor & police lab technician Donovan Shane. Zoe is the typical "party girl". She is also the gossip reporter for The San Diego Times. She and her two friends and co-workers have stumbled on a lust potion. It seems to have done wonders for Ethan and Kathryn's love lives so now Zoe wants to find out what is really in it and write the story that will make a name for her. She has not lived up to the potential she feels that her family believed she had. Her mother, father and brother were killed on the way to Zoe's graduation with a Master's in Literature. She quickly went through a large portion of her trust fund and now feels guilty and lives only on her small salary. To write this live changing article she needs the help of her nerdy neighbor Donovan Shane. Shane works for the police lab and Zoe wants the results of the chemical analysis and to test the potion. Shane has always wanted Zoe and since she's such a party girl and him such a nerd he knows she won't have anything to do with him. He avoids her even though she tries to be friendly. Little does Shane know about Zoe as she used to be just as nerdy as he is and suddenly Zoe is noticing that Shane is sexy in an understated way. Can they keep their hands off each other long enough to discover the mystery of the lust potion? Good story and good finish to the series. I enjoyed the ride with Zoe and Shane. This was a good series.
