Texas Ranger Takes a Wife

This was a secret baby story and done very well.  The hero is a Texas Ranger who is called in to rescue a kidnapped child of his former girlfriend.  What he does not know is that it is his child, but once he rescues him and gets a good look at him he knows it is his child.  He had left the mother nine years before to become a Ranger and when she tried to contact him he would not talk to her so she married another man that her father approved of.  Both of the main characters have to realize that they were both wrong in what happened before and that they still loved each other.  There is also a back story about the murder of the hero's uncle ten years before that is interesting.
