Wade Cordell is a "Bullet Catcher" and his assignment is to find a woman and persuade her to meet her birth mother. The woman is Vanessa Porter and she is on vacation in the Caribbean hunting for a friend that works with her. Vanessa knows she is adopted and she knows who her birth mother is, and want's no part of any of it. But she tells Wade when she finds her friend that has dissapeared she will go back with him. Wade helps her look for her missing friend and they become involved in more than either of them expected to find.
I have read #1 and #2 and am looking forward to the last book out in September.
