Lucy Sharpe wants Wade Cordell to work for the Bullet Catchers.  He is a expert marksman sniper who wants no part of killing anymore.  Lucy convinces him to go to the Caribbean and convince Vanessa Porter to go see her birth mother. 

Vanessa is hunting for her close friend Clive who has disappeared and won't leave until she finds him.  So Wade tries to help her figuring the faster she finds her friend the sooner they will be able to go see her dying birth mother.

I love Roxanne's writing.  I can't wait to read her next book which is Lucy's story.
