Then You Hide by Roxanne St. Claire, Pocket Stars Book 7/2008, Bullet Catchers #2

This second book in the Bullet Catchers trilogy is just as good as the first.

Vanessa Porter, Wall St. high flyer is suppose to be on vacation!  The fact that she hasn't taken a vacation in six years makes it a bit suspicious.  She is actually looking for her friend Clive who seems to have dropped off the face of the earth.  Not at all like Clive, another Wall St. workaholic that doesn't take vacations. 

Wade Cordell sometimes takes on an assignment for Lucy Sharpe, head of the Bullet Catchers .  His assignment is to find Vanessa Porter, another adopted daughter that may be able to help convicted murderer, Eileen.  Vanessa has no compassion for the mother that gave her away at birth, then later on was convicted of murder. This is suppose to be a cushy assignment in the beautiful Caribbean but has so many twists and turns that Wade is working much harder than expected. 

Vanessa questions people with great intensity but doesn't get much cooperation or many answers.  Southern gentleman, Wade, has a slower, laid back response that often times garners way more information.  These two generate some interesting situations and a lot of sexual intensity.

 Another excellent attention grabbing book from Roxanne.  I can't wait to get the third book to read.  So far it hasn't been in the stores where I have looked.
