Karen Kingsbury- A Time To Dance

Women of Faith Fiction- 2007

This would be a great book for a woman that is going through a hard time in her marriage. The story is about a husband and wife that, over the years have simply grown apart. Their children are raised and there just isn't much to talk about, a way to stay connected. It is easier to avoid each other, hold a grudge, and harbor hurt feelings than take the time to work things out. They had been going on that way for so long, they didn't know how to open up to each other, or set pride aside.

They had decided that getting a divorce would be best for the both of them, so they could focus on themselves and regain some happiness, until their daugher annouces that she is getting married and that she looks up to them and admires their marriage. They didn't want to crush their daughers dream so they try to put off the divorce until after the wedding, but holding off the enevitable leads to a new plan...

I loved reading this novel. It gave me a sense of renewed faith. Karen Kingsbury wrote this novel with so much heartfelt emotion. The characters and the overall theme are wonderful.

A great story about christian characters overcoming obsticles in thier marriage, and bring family back where it belongs.

The sequal to this book is A Time To Embrace
