Too Good to Be True
It sucks to be single, especially since Grace Emerson's younger sister is getting married...to Grace's ex-fiance. Andrew dumped her just three weeks before their nuptials after falling head over heels for vivacious, beautiful Natalie. All Grace wants is to move on, and to make sure the sister she adores can be happy with Andrew, even if her heart is still terribly bruised.
So to keep the family from pitying her, and to make sure Nat can get hitched guilt-free, Grace invents a boyfriend--a picture-perfect pediatric surgeon. But the little white lie that saves her sanity threatens to unravel when an unexpected surprise by the name of Callahan O'Shea moves in next door.... This was a fantastic novel, funny, charming, engaging, and thoroughly entertaining. The characters play off each other wonderfully, and Grace is a sympathetic heroine brimming with wit and humour, compassion and kindness. Fans of Gone With the Wind will love Grace's passion for history and the beloved romance tale. This book is a keeper. Coming to HQN Books February 2009. --review by Vicki So, proofreader.
