Linda Goodnight's second entry in the Brothers' Bond series is a real winner. Set in New Orleans, it captures the essence of the city while not allowing the setting to overwhelm the story. Television reporter Gretchen Barker takes pleasure in exposing fraudulent charities, but when she comes up against minister Ian Carpenter, she finds someone who really seems to live his faith. The very real challenges to their love keep you reading to the end.
