TO TRUST A FRIEND by Lynn Bulock [Harlequin 47]

Hope Chastain
Format: Print Books

When rain exposes a burial ground, forensic anthropologist Kyra Elliott is called in to make sense of the collection of bones and scraps of fabric.  The FBI agent assigned to help in the investigation, Joshua Richards, is someone Kyra once loved, though he never knew it.  As they begin the painstaking task of identifying the three bodies, working together, they grow to love each other.  But can they find the identity of the serial killer before he strikes again?

This was an excellent mystery/romantic suspense novel, with the occasional glimpse into the mind of the killer adding a chilling reality.  Her characterizations and settings are very well done.  I'm looking forward to the next one!
