Last (didn't know when I found it!) of the Shades of Style series, featuring Chenille Rizzo, founder of Garments of Praise, a fashion house with a heart. Chenille has recently lost her husband, so why is she so drawn to handsome Dr. Sergio Loyola? And why is Megan the-client-from-hell, spoiled rich girl and one-woman relationship destroyer, suddenly back, pregnant, not only coming between Chenille and her friends, but between Chenille and Sergio?
Harlequin's own Marilynn Griffith turns out a fabulous read (for another house). Even though I hadn't read the first three in the series, I enjoyed this. The depths of characterization, the excellent settings, and the faith element all combine in perfect harmony. The struggles of the characters aren't sugar-coated little problems, either. They're modern, gritty, real. Highly recommended.
