Hunter's Moon by Bernadette Gardner, New Concepts Publishing, 2005
Copied Blurb:
When an inhuman scream silences the night creatures in a Pennsylvania woodland, Alliana Cambridge isn't afraid. She's angry. When she goes in search of the source of that tortured sound she expects to find another drunken hunter injured by his own gun. Instead she finds something indescribable. He's six feet of sensuous panther-black skin stretched over taut muscle. His green eyes glow with feral intelligence and though she can't speak his language, Alli knows he's asking for her help. She watches as his magnificent body heals itself of a vicious gunshot wound and she wonders if he's come to enslave humans, starting with her. Of course, she's probably dreaming. After all, magnificent feline aliens don't normally roam the woods behind Alli's home. If he's still there, in her bed, in the morning ... well, she'll worry about it then. Rating: Contains graphic language and explicit sexual content.
My Review:
Loved, loved, loved this story! It was fun, and very, very sexy! It was my first read by this author, so I went and read the next story, which is kind of a follow-up to this one.
My Rating: 4.5
Hunter's Mate by Bernadette Gardner, New Concepts Publishing, 2007
Copied Blurb:
The Sha-Shiri have split into three warring factions--those who are determined to cross-breed with humans in search of the ability to shift at will from Sha-Shiri to human; those who will kill to prevent such an 'abomination'; and those determined to protect the purity of their race and preserve the rights of other races. Victoria has longed her entire life to meet her father's people, the Sha-Shiri. She never expected to find herself captured by them to be used as a breeder. When she is captured and awakens aboard an alien vessel, she is informed that Kash-Koori has been chosen as her designated breeder and her cooperation will be appreciated, though it isn't required. Like hell she's just going to let them use her as a breeding mare! Rating: Contains graphic language and explicit sexual content.
My Review:
I totally loved this story too! I am giving it a lower rating than the other one only because I found the ending a tad predictable, possibly from reading them back to back.
My Rating: 4
