Undead and Unpopular

In this fifth book in the Betsy Taylor series, her 31st birthday is approaching and her plate is piled high with problems --- not cake and ice cream.

As if last year's birthday wasn't troublesome enough.  Not only did Betsy turn 30, but she also died.  This year she finds little reason to celebrate.  Her vampire king fiance, Eric Sinclair, can't be bothered to help her with any of their wedding plans.  She also hasn't mentioned to Eric her big plans to adopt a blood-free diet.  On top of everything else, powerful European vampires are coming to pay their respects---but it's clear some of them would like nothing more than to exterminate their new queen.

Birthdays are supposed to be fun, but with all the drama, Betsy's 31st is on the fast track to disaster town.

This book is a lot of fun, whether you read it or listen to it.  I again think Nancy Wu has a perfect Betsy voice, even if I don't think she has a perfect Eric voice.  One of my fav parts of this story is the zombie in the attic and her reaction to it.  Could just see that part in a movie!  Even if you think vampire stories aren't for you, pick this series up.  Its to darn funny to miss.
