A Visit From Sir Nicholas

It is a great book about an 18 year old woman declaring her love and being regected because everyone new that her and Charles were meant to be.  Friends since childhood Nick, Jonathon, & Charles.  So Nick who was in love with Lizzie refused her and went off to seek his fortune.  Lizzie and Charles have a confortable marriage, two children and he is killed in an accident.  Now Lizzie is taking care of her inheritance and quite good at it.  Nick comes home after 10 years and finds he is still in love with Lizzie and vows to woo her.  The story has a lot of humor and decisions to make for a woman scorned.  We have a proud man learning that he had made a mistake 10 years earlier.
