Daisy is a shrimper from Galveston who is in the right place at the right time to rescue a little girl from a yacht explosion. Temple has been looking for his kidnapped daughter for weeks when he sees a TV new broadcast talking about a rescued girl. He flies to Galveston as fast as his jet can take him only to discover his daughter, Becca, has latched onto Daisy and won't let go. The little girl has no memory of anything and sees Daisy as her anchor. Temple has no choice other than to stay in Galveston with Becca and Daisy until his daughter recovers.
Temple is a control freak and Daisy much more of a free spirit. This is very much an opposites attract story. But Becca really steals the show in my opinion.
