Wayward Debutante by Sarah Elliott, HH, Regency '08

Eleanor was easily bored by the ton and their many events. Whenever possible she would slip away and visit the theater. This being a somewhat shocking thing to do, it was not unnoticed. James became besotted by the beautiful woman hiding behind an atrocious wig and wished to seduce her. What would happen if they were caught?

I enjoy Regency Romances and used to subscribe to a book club that sent our four at a time. Since RR have fallen out of favor I no longer subscribe to that book club. Fortunately, I have discovered that I can find some amongst the HH. Elliott creates a delightful quiet hellion named Eleanor. There is tenderness and passion to be found in James and in their relationship. Thumbs up.
