Gosh! What made me pick this book? I have no clue. It seemed pack with juicy gossip leading from 2002-2004 about almost every Urban celebrity. Wendy is relentless in her digging up on the latest singers, rappers, and actors! But in between the lines of her ranting, opinions, and major Gossip, she instilled some wisdom. I wasn't expecting this from the Wendy who puts Whitney Houston on air high as a crackpipe, or who claimed that Mariah Carey had a breast aug,
But she had an advice column for young women and I liked that very much. She is very opinionated but she cracks you up when she mentions about people who get nose jobs and its so horrible they should get their money back. She even admits to having liposuction and breast implants but she feels good about herself. she had an "inner self esteem boost" before she changed the outter.
Famous names she drops bombs on are: Whitney Houston, Puff Daddy, Suge Knight, Mariah Carey, Lil Kim and much, much more! You'll never look at these people the same way again. I am not one for gossip...truly, but I sure had some good laughs out of this book. Just not the part about R Kelly and his sex tape. Yuck!...
