This is the first in the Blaze "Lust Potion #9" series. When he and his friends are slipped a lust potion just as the seller is being arrested, Ethan Ramsey doesn't believe it's anything more than water. Because he is the crime report for The San Diego Times he has contacts at the police department. He decides to turn the potion over to Nicole Arroyo. Ethan and Nicole had a one night stand 2 years ago that didn't happen. It seems that Ethan had too much to drink and things never got finished. He has been hot for Nicole all this time but she won't give him a second chance. When he accidentally spills some of the lust potion it seems that Nicole is ready for that second chance. Unfortunately, a cop killer that wants to harm Nicole has recently been paroled and now his threatening Ethan too. Can Nicole keep her hands off Ethan while living in his home as his bodyguard? Good story. Loved the characters and loved the danger aspect. This series has started out with a good one.
