Wild For Him by Janelle Denison, Berkley 2008

Wild For Him is Janelle's first book about friends of the Wilde's that work for a security company.  If you enjoyed the Wilde books you will also enjoy this book!  Can't wait for the next one.

Ben has been assigned as a bodyguard to Christine Delacroix as her father has received threatening notes implicating she is in danger.  Nathan Delacroix is running for governor and someone is trying to get him to drop out of the race.  Ben will be with Christine 24 hours a day until the election is over.  He is determined to make sure she is protected at all times.  Ben has worked as her bodyguard before but never on such an intimate basis.

Christine is not thrilled to have a bodyguard 24 hours a day but she isn't unhappy about having sexy ex-Marine, Ben, around.  After hearing her father's explanation she graciously accepts the fact. 

The threats that are received are not specific but do seem to target Christine.  The most likely suspect is her ex, Jason.  When Nathan found out that Jason was embezzeling campaign funds he was fired.  Christine broke the engagement then had to put a restraining order on Jason.  He is blaming Nathan the the ruin of his dream of a political career.  In his mind he thinks Christine should still be his.  Ben does not trust the man at all to stay away.  But is Nathan the real problem or is it someone else?

This was such a good book!  It was hard to put down, the main characters were so real, the suspense pointed to several people and the sexual tension and chemistry between Ben and Christine was hot!  Well done, Janelle.
