Wild Hunt - Lori Devoti - Unbound Series - Book 3 - Silhouette Nocturne #41- June/08

Backcover Synopsis - NATUREL ENEMIES--HELLHOUND AND VALKYRIE--THEIR ALLIANCE MADE THEM MORE POWERFUL THAN ANY ONE COULD ANTICIPATE

Alongside his hellhound brethren, Venge Leidolf was summoned to start the Wild Hunt anew.  But in this dreaded pursuit of souls, Venge sought to free himself from his infernal bondage--by claiming the heart of a fierce Valkyrie...

Geysa never questioned the alluring gifts that set her apart form the Valkyerie, or her hatred of hellhounds--until Venge fell under her spell.  Drawing the alpha hellhound so close made Geysa doubt her every instinct.  To stop the Hunt, the two blood-born enemies would need to cast aside old vows and allegiances.  Only then could no one question the stregnth of their union....

Personal Opinion - Another glimpse into the world of the Hellhounds as Venge tries to find himself and finally free himself from his former life.  The Myths of old are relived and given some new dimensions.  I have really enjoyed this series so far and am looking forward to more books in the future.  I can see such possibilites--Runa, Jora, Sigurd.  It also seems that the beginning of a dsyfunctional family is in the making.

Now I want to move this one

Now I want to move this one up in my pile!  Thanks.

dysfunction family

Hehe that is funny! A dysfunctional family of hellhounds, valkyries and garms! Makes you wonder what else will be introduced into them.

People who look down on others are the real freaks of this world.

We'll just have to hope it's something and soon

When I read this one

When I read this one I was also reading Rick Riordan's, Battle of the Labyrinth ( a kids series ) and they both had Hellhounds and a Wild Hunt it was very interesting to read them at the same time and compare differences and similarities. I thought that was an amazing coincidence. I really enjoyed this series and think there is a lot of story to be told in future books, sure hoping so anyway. Glad you enjoyed them too.
