This was book Two of hte Husband Fund books. I have to say, even though I loved book one, I enjoyed book 2 even more than I thought I would! Whereas I'd anticipated Winters rehashing some of the scenes we'd already seen, she moved forward from where we left off, which was very exciting!
Having read this book in the immediate wake of the first, I caught a bit of editing confusion (in book 1, Luc was driving; in book 2, it claimed he was unable to drive. hmmm...) But that little bit aside, it was veyr powerful and exiciting. Rebecca Winters is one of my favorite authors, who never fails to deliver.
