Another gripping Barbara Holloway mystery--she's an intelligent, ethical mystery-solving lawyer who, in this story, is also figuring out what to do about the man in her life. One of my favourite aspects of these books is Barbara's relationship with her father--they make quite a team. Here they work together to keep Barbara out of trouble when she becomes a suspect in a murder/kidnapping, in the process unravelling a multi-million dollar crime.
