I could barely stop to draw breath during this terrifically fast-paced suspense novel.  Shanna Clarke is on a hunting trip with her boss when she suddenly becomes the target.  Sexy Jace Lantry not only helps her escape, but is the only person who believes her story about what really happened.  Add to the terrific romance a child in peril and a particularly painful betrayal and you've got me on the edge of my seat for 212 pages.
