You Belong To Me - Mary Higgins Clark - Pocket Books - April/99
Backcover Synopsis - When psychologist Dr. Susan Chandler uses her call-in radio show to explore the issue of lonesome women who disappear and are later found to have been victims of seductive killers, she has no way of knowing she is exposing herself--and those closest to her--to the very horror she is warning others against.
After a listener calls in offering information about the mysterious disappearance from a luxury ocean liner of wealthy investment advisor Regina Clausen, the caller meets with a terrible accident. Or so say the police. As Susan begins to investigate, she quickly finds herself in a race against time--and an assassin who targets not only vulnerable women but anyone who might offer clues to his identity. Inching closer to the truth, Susan makes shocking dual discoveries that the killer may be an important figure in her own life, and that she herself is marked for murder.
Personal Opinion - Another good murder mystery from Mary Higgins Clark. She has given us the usual possible suspects and keeps us guessing until the end as to who the real murderer is as well as the surprise secret of one of the other possibilities.

I watched this one on
I watched this one on television. I really need to read her books! When channel 59 here used to be PAX, they had movies of her books every other Friday night and I loved watching them. Now it's I channel for independent but they don't seem to run them. Now it's mostly infomercials and reruns.

Oh my gosh, Merri!
You haven't read Mary Higgins Clark? Wow. Well, you should give her a try... if you like mysteries, that is. It's really hard for me to decide which of her books would be my favorite. Her first novel is excellent, though IMO, the most troubling one - Where Are The children. I like Remember Me, and Moonlight Becomes You too. However, this one is also pretty good. I read every new book she comes out with! If you read one, let me know what you think, okay?
Nicely written review, Mona!

No, I am ashamed to say I
No, I am ashamed to say I have not read her. I adored being able to watch the movies of her books on Fridays. I always preferred to stay home on Friday nights after a hard work week (and did the restaurant and other social things later in the weekend) and these movies were the perfect Friday night entertainment, mysterious without being full of gore etc. I love mysteries for the mystery of them.
