Sensational Romance Authors
City of Bones
First in the YA 'Mortal Instruments' series. A very convoluted magical world, with constant new 'stuff' being dropped into the story. WARNING: SPOILER ALERT!!!! Loved the sparks and kiss between Clary and Jace, so discovering they were brother and sister at the end was just 'yuck'! Keep expecting them to not be in the 2nd book...does anyone know?
Lights, Camera...Kiss the Boss!
Read this almost in one sitting. Brilliant debut! The characters were so real, the plot fabulous, the writing...can't believe it's a first book! Loved it!
Breaking Dawn
Ties up the series well. Interesting character development in this one. Farewell Bella, Edward and Jacob!
Eclipse
My favourite of the series so far. Loved the different POVs. Jacob's 'voice' was so him!
Tempted
Book 6 in the House of Night series (and yes, I couldn't resist buying them all.) The stakes are really raised in this final book for now and the ending...! Boy, are readers left hankering for the next instalment, 'Burned', out some time this year. The adventures of Zoey Redbird and her vampire mates are well worth following.
New Moon
I'm hooked on the saga.
Wicked Lovely
Been meaning to read this for ages, but thought fairies wouldn't grab me...they did! In a big way! Loved the characters. Aislinn and Seth's relationship developed at a real pace and the outcome is very practical and balanced. Really enjoyed it.
Made You Look by Jamie Sobrato (Blaze)
I love the way the hero was redeemed in this one. It's a long way back from having your hero start the book as Sir Sex-A-Lot, who may or may not have a sex addiction and likes to have sex in front of his windows for the whole neighborhood to see! :D Funny and touching, with great themes woven in.
Vampire Academy
The first in a YA series. Interesting take on dhampirs and Moroi, royal vamps. Enjoyed it.
Evermore
Picked this up at random, because I liked the title and blurb. Humans with psychic powers, immortals and ghosts. What's not to like?
